It is refreshing to deal with a business that makes customer satisfaction their number one priority. Evidence of that was the owner, Mr. Edgar Li, not asking for payment until the work was completed and I was satisfied. The whole process from beginning to end was easy. I was given a consultation appointment promptly with Mr. Li. He showed up on the dot at the agreed time, and most importantly, he listened and addressed my needs. I never felt he was recommending a feature just to increase his bottom line. My job included some complications such as: (1) rain coming in and damaging the subfloor which was discovered not long ago when the floor tiles were replaced by another contractor, (2) exterior wood and threshold rotting, (3) having a security wired contact on the door, (4) desire to reuse a recently purchased deadbolt lock, and (5) meeting the Homeowners Association criteria. Every concern was taken care of by Crystal Exteriors. Mr. Li emailed a detailed proposal in the evening, the same day as the consultation. On the day of installation, Jaime (crew leader) patiently listened as I went over some of the details of the job. It was apparent that he was already well briefed by Mr. Li who also came by to oversee the job, although he did not need to stay for the entire day. Jaime has been with Mr. Li for at least 20 years which is a testament of experience. The crew took their time to do the work properly. Also, the plastic tent that they set up in the foyer to keep the cold out was much appreciated since it was February. I got a beautiful ProVia fiberglass door that is factory painted, which means a smooth finish and no painting needed on my part, and sidelites with internal grids which makes cleaning the glass easy. When the job was finished everything worked as it should, including the security system, my house key for the new bottom lock as well as the reused top lock, and the doorbell. If quality is your foremost factor in hiring a contractor, Crystal Exteriors is the definitive choice for door replacement.
